E-Bike Battery & Range Explained: Wh, Real-World Distance and Care

Battery anxiety is the number one concern for new e-bike buyers — but it's easily solved with a little knowledge. Battery capacity is measured in watt-hours (Wh): the higher the number, the further you ride.
As a rough guide, expect 1–2 km of range per 10Wh in eco mode. The Turbo Levo 4's 840Wh pack therefore delivers up to 140 km of trail riding, while the Domane+ SLR's 360Wh unit gives 145 km on the road thanks to its far lighter chassis — weight and terrain matter as much as capacity.
To extend battery life: store at 30–60% charge in cool conditions, avoid deep discharge, and always use the supplied charger. Quality packs from Bosch, TQ and Specialized retain over 80% capacity after 1,000 cycles — and every e-bike we sell carries a 2-year battery and motor warranty.
